Melbourne TVs terms
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Launch operating model
Melbourne TVs currently receives enquiries, helps define the requested scope and coordinates a referral to an independent installer. Before an appointment is accepted, we will identify the proposed installer and provide or arrange written confirmation of the scope, exclusions, price and available time.
The installation agreement
Unless the written quote expressly says otherwise, the independent installer contracts with and invoices the customer for the installation work. The installer is responsible for completing the accepted scope, carrying appropriate insurance and holding any licence or registration required for the work they perform.
Quotes and changes
An online enquiry is not a booking. A quote is based on the information and photos supplied. If the site conditions, TV, bracket, access or requested work differ materially, the installer must explain any proposed scope or price change before continuing.
Licensed work
New or relocated fixed electrical work must be completed by a Victorian licensed electrician. Applicable regulated communications cabling must be completed by an appropriately registered cabler. These items must be identified separately and are not implied by an ordinary TV mounting request.
Cancellations and access
Any cancellation fee, deposit, parking cost, building-access requirement or attendance fee must be disclosed in the written quote or booking confirmation before acceptance.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or guarantees that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
